Leili Harmon is an artist and designer originating from Long Beach, California.
Their garment work focuses on offering a sense of protection and care, while maintaining intention in choice of manipulated garments, ethical sourcing, and access.
Most if not all of their painted garment and accessory work is second hand/upcycled, as a way to reduce the environmental impact of fashion and also as a way to give the piece another life through the wearer. Garments used for printed material are ethically sourced when possible, second hand or wholesale.
Care is given to ensure thrifted materials are sourced and used without damaging availability to the communities they're intended for.
